The Red Condor MAG (Message Assurance Gateway) Network Appliance blocks spam, viruses and other malicious email content before it reaches your mail server. The MAG-series can handle everything from a small workgroup to a massive enterprise. Five models are currently available to meet a range of different of customer needs: the MAG2000, MAG2500, MAG2600, MAG2700, MAG3000, and MAG4000. The top-of-the-line MAG 4000 is capable of handling over 20,000 mailboxes, and is scalable to hundreds of thousands of mailboxes when configured in a clustered multi-appliance architecture.

The MAG-series appliance locates the Red Condor anti-spam/anti-virus (ASAV) software within the customer’s network, but leverages the shared resources of the Red Condor Security Operations Center (SOC) to provide ongoing real-time updates to the filtering rules and embedded software. That means that once it is up and running, Red Condor automatically updates your MAG-series appliance so that it always provides up-to-date protection from the latest email threats, viruses, and network hacking attacks.

• Exceptional Protection
  Red Condor’s MAG-series Network Appliances eliminate spam, viruses, spyware, phishing schemes, and other offensive content. The MAG-series appliance filters all incoming email before it reaches your email server. Spam, viruses, and other offensive or malicious email is separated from the email stream and stored in a web-based quarantine for up to 35 days.
  
  MAG-series appliances also offer optional outbound mail filtering to prevent zombies — a virus-infected PC — from sending spam. Spam-spewing PCs can run undetected on your network and frequently get the your email domain blacklisted, which can prevent all the other users within the domain from sending email. With our optional outbound filtering, if a zombie starts sending spam Red Condor blocks the spam, and then notifies the domain administrator so that corrective action can be taken.

  Red Condor’s MAG-series appliances don’t require initial filter training or ongoing tuning, and end-users do not need to report spam or develop individual rules. Your spam problem simply disappears. Individual users have secure access to any email that has been tagged as spam and placed in quarantine, which they can review without downloading the email and placing their computer or entire network at risk. Each user can also receive an optional Spam Digest report that allows them to review their spam Quarantine without having to manage an extra ’junk’ email folder.

  MAG-series appliances have the option of Vx Technology™ for redundant fail-safe back-up operation, and also include disaster-recovery email spooling to provide back up of incoming email. Plus, if an email server goes down, Red Condor stores inbound email for up to 96 hours while the server is brought back online. Red Condor’s Security Operations Center provides real-time tracking and analysis of evolving email threats, which are continuously downloaded to MAG-series appliances, so the security filters are always up-to-date.
